Discuss the danger of peer pressure:

• These 3 friends were under tremendous pressure to comply with what the rest of the country was doing. They were the only ones who chose to obey God.

• Discuss the power of peer pressure to go with the flow, even when you don’t feel right about it.

Discuss what it must have been like for these friends to see Jesus:

• Appearances of Jesus before his birth were very rare!

• Discuss how special it was for Jesus to come down and be with these 3 friends during this time.

Discuss the blessings of having Jesus with us on our bad days:

• Even though we can’t see Jesus, he is just as much with us during our bad days as he was with these 3 friends.

• Read these verses about God’s presence with us: Psalm 46:1, Psalm 41:10, Isaiah 41:10,13, Deuteronomy 31:6
